Job Title: Registered Nurse $12K Sign-on-Bonus & Relocation – ER Days

Job Summary:

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Unit Director to provide age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Competency is evaluated based on assessment of the nurse’s ability to utilize the nursing process as it applies to formulating an appropriate plan for care and analyzing the effectiveness of interventions. Duties are of considerable difficulty and are based on scientific principles and standards of nursing practice. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications: Education: * Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Diploma Program is required. * Bachelor’s in Nursing is preferred. Experience: * Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred. * Demonstrates ability to correctly interpret cardiac rhythms and implement appropriate intervention. * Demonstrates ability to provide care that is appropriate for age, culture and disease process for Pediatrics, Adults, Adolescents and Geriatrics. Required Licensure/Certification(s): * Current RN license to practice professional Nursing in the State of New Mexico. * Current verification in Basic Life Support is required. If BLS verification is not current upon hire, must be obtained within 3 months of hire. * ICU/MSP/ED – Completion of ACLS within three (3) months of hire and PALS within six (6) months of hire required. * ED – Completion of ENPC within six (6) months of hire preferred.
