Job Title: Director of Pharmacy $15 Sign-on Bonus & Relocation

Job Summary:

Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the Director of Pharmacy performs duties of considerable difficulty in organizing and supervising Pharmacy services. Provides Pharmacy Service oversight responsibility of RMCHCS Hospital, Home Health, College Clinic, Red Rock Clinic, and BHS/ SATC-Behavioral Health Services/Substance Abuse Treatment Center. The Director of Pharmacy provides appropriate and proactive services to all customers of RMCHCS. Performs as Pharmacist and takes Pharmacy Call approximately 35% of the time. The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications: Education: * Graduation from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy is required. Experience: * At least three (3) years’ acute hospital pharmacy management experience is required. * Competent in the practice of hospital pharmacy (laws and regulations, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, sterile preparation, delivery and distribution systems, safety and infection standards, basic computer skills and ASHP standards of practice). Licensure & Certifications: * Current licensure and registration as a Pharmacist in New Mexico required. * Sterile Products Certification required.
