Position Summary:
Under supervision of the Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant is responsible for provision of age-appropriate and culturally sensitive occupational therapy care including treatments, modalities, patient education and instruction for Wellness Center and hospital inpatient clients. Duties are of great difficulty and are based on principles and standards of occupational therapy practice. The Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
* Graduation from an accredited associate’s degree Occupational Therapist Assistant program required.
Experience:
* Minimum of one (1) years’ Occupational therapy experience preferred.
