RMCHCS provides spiritual support for patients and their families through dedicated Chaplain services. Our Chaplains play a vital role in promoting emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. They offer compassionate presence, active listening, encouragement, and prayer, available 24/7. Chaplain services are accessible at the hospital, home health, hospice, and clinics. The RMCHCS Ethics Committee is available to support patients with questions regarding treatment preferences or matters involving ethical, legal, or religious decisions. To reach the Ethics Committee, call 505-863-7140.
Each November, RMCHCS hosts a Memorial Service to honor patients who have passed away in the hospital or through our hospice program during the previous year. Family members are invited to attend this meaningful event, held in the solarium on the third floor of the hospital.
