The mission of RMCHCS is to serve God by making a profound and lasting difference in the health and quality of life for all people in the community.

COVID-19

COVID
HEROES

Night shift. Whether attending to an emergency in the ED, keeping the facility secure overnight, or watching over a dying patient in their final moments, all those that spend their nights away from their families to be here for our patients sacrifice a lot to be of service. Patients need care 24-7, night staff never know what urgent need might arise, and they courageously and expertly handle whatever comes their way. Thank you to all of you!

Materials Management Team have done an outstanding job staying on top of PPE and supply needs. The work the Materials Team does is critical to the safety of our staff and care of our patients, and we are most grateful to Ed and the team for all of the excellent work.

The COVID-19 pandemic stretches us all to take on more and different responsibilities, we’d like to especially recognize our nurses, MA’s, and other staff members stepping up to cross-train in different departments. Our staff are working incredibly hard to quickly learn the skills they need to care for patients in new areas. From the clinics to the Women’s Health Unit, Med/Surg, and nurses working in non-clinical areas, huge thanks to all those learning new skills and stepping into new roles!!!

Our amazing EVS staff have done an incredible job learning new cleaning procedures, increasing the frequency of “high-touch” area cleaning, and making sure rooms are turned over quickly and safely. Thank you EVS for all of the hard work you’ve done during the COVID pandemic and every day.

We would like to acknowledge all that have stepped up to screen patients, staff, and visitors as they enter our facilities. The screeners brave challenging weather, individuals unhappy with new visitation policies, and are on the front line of keeping our staff and patients safe

Recognize the outstanding work of the RMCHCS ICU staff who have stepped up to face the challenge of the COVID pandemic with courage, dedication, and compassion. Thanks, ICU Team, for the outstanding work!

The awesome Home Health Team has done an amazing job with the case management and follow up of COVID and COVID-exposed patients being sheltered at the local hotels. Amanda, Vernon, and all of those involved have gone above and beyond to ensure these patients get excellent care and have the resources that allow them to continue to isolate in the respiratory shelters.

Recognize those staff members who have dealt personally with COVID-19 infection. We thank and welcome back those that have recovered and are rejoining their colleagues at work and our thoughts are with those still out sick with COVID-19.

Every one of our nurses!!!

HR Team have worked very hard not only creating all of the COVID-related HR policies required. We are getting in new volunteers and staff daily and HR has stepped up to make sure onboarding and orientation run smoothly as new people start.

Thanks for your help and support.
