guidelines

RMCHCS understands the essential role of family and friends in a patient’s recovery process. While RMCHCS maintains an open visiting policy, visitors are requested to be respectful and considerate of all patients in the hospital.

Patients have the right to be informed of their visitation rights, including any clinical restrictions or limitations that may apply to those rights.

Hospital Main Entrance Hours

Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday – Sunday: Closed
After Hours and Weekends: Please use the Emergency Entrance

Visitation Hours: 6:30 AM – 9:00 PM

Visitor Policy

A maximum of two (2) visitors per patient is allowed at any time.
Patients and visitors must check in at Admissions as part of the hospital’s security process.*

For Patients

Patients with respiratory symptoms seeking care in the Emergency Department must wear masks at all times while in the waiting area and examination room.

For Visitors

Visitors for admitted patients will be issued a visitor label at Admissions and must sign in at the nurse’s station upstairs.

Masks may be required in certain patient care areas.

Visitors must be at least 17 years old to enter patient care areas.

Visitors with signs or symptoms of illness should not visit inpatient areas.

Visitors accessing the cafeteria or gift shop may do so without checking in at Admissions.
