Basic Qualifications:
Education:
* Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Nurse Practitioner required.
Experience:
* Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
Required Licensure/Certification(s):
* New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners License required.
* Current appropriate certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc. (if not current upon hire, must be obtained within three (3) months of hire).

Physician Assistant
Position summary:
Physician Assistant will evaluate patients and administer care to treat illnesses, diseases, and physical or mental problems. Physician assistant assesses patient symptoms and conditions, conducting careful examinations to determine the nature of their illness and any potential treatments. Will write notes in patient charts detailing these symptoms and treatments. Physician assistant work in collaborative environments with other medical staff. The Physician Assistant is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.
