Job Title: Infection Preventionist/Employee Health RN

Job Summary:

Position Summary:
The Infection Prevention and Employee Health Nurse (RN) assists with infection control and prevention related activities within the organization. This individual, under the supervision of the Infection Prevention and Employee Health Coordinator, will also be responsible for all assigned functions of the employee health program, and for providing clinical employee health services. The Infection Prevention and Employee Health Nurse (RN) is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications: Education: * Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing School required. * BSN preferred. Experience: * Minimum of two (2) years’ clinical experience in area of expertise preferred. Required Licensure/Certification(s): * Current RN License to practice professional Nursing in the State of New Mexico required. * Current verification in Basic Life Support required. If BLS verification is not current upon hire, must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.
