RMCHCS provides comprehensive cardiopulmonary services, including respiratory and pulmonary diagnosis, cardiology services, cardiac rehabilitation, and a sleep laboratory. Located on the second floor, our department offers advanced diagnostic tools and expert care to manage respiratory and cardiac conditions.
Our respiratory therapy team helps in diagnosing and treating pulmonary disorders, such as asthma and COPD. We collaborate with cardiologists to ensure integrated care for both heart and lung health, helping improve patients’ quality of life.
We are Licensed Respiratory Care Practioners.
Our cardiology department offers a wide range of services, including inpatient and outpatient consultations, follow-up care, cardiac stress tests, EKGs, and Holter monitoring. Board-certified cardiologists are available three days a week to provide expert care.
Additionally, we offer specialized services such as nuclear stress testing and care coordination for patients who require advanced treatments.

Children with heart conditions are treated by a pediatric cardiologist at RMCHCS through a referral from the child’s primary care provider. The pediatric cardiologist at College Clinic specializes in evaluating and treating heart problems in young patients.

RMCHCS’s respiratory therapy department provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for individuals with pulmonary conditions. Our licensed respiratory therapists work with patients suffering from chronic diseases like asthma and emphysema, offering personalized education on managing their conditions.
Our team collaborates with cardiology and sleep medicine specialists to deliver holistic care. We also have a neonatal pediatric respiratory specialist, accredited by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association.
RMCHCS offers state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services, including general x-rays, mammography, MRI, CT scans, and more. Our radiologists, supported by Concord Radiology through teleradiology, provide expert readings quickly and accurately.
Available 24/7, our imaging team ensures that all diagnostic needs are met with the latest technology, helping patients receive timely care. Services also include ultrasound, bone density testing, and biopsies. Our focus is on high-quality, efficient imaging with minimal wait times.
RMCHCS Emergency Room, located on the main floor, is open 24/7 to handle critical medical situations. Our team of doctors, nurses, and technicians provide rapid, compassionate care for life-threatening injuries or illnesses.
We prioritize severe cases first, ensuring patients receive the quickest possible treatment. RMCHCS is also an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, providing timely stroke care with the help of telemedicine services from The University of New Mexico Hospital.

RMCHCS provides comprehensive occupational health services, including pre-employment physicals, drug testing, PFT testing, and workers’ compensation care. We also offer DOT physicals, audio testing, and PPD testing.
Our Rapid Care services ensure quick and efficient screenings, and we collaborate with employers to ensure employees meet health and safety standards. These services are available to businesses and organizations seeking reliable occupational health support.
RMCHCS offers nutrition services aimed at disease management and prevention. Our registered dietitian provides outpatient nutrition counseling, focusing on helping patients meet health and wellness goals.
We also support inpatients with therapeutic meal planning to aid recovery. Our culinary professionals prepare nutritious meals for the hospital, and our cafeteria typically offers a variety of freshly prepared meals.
For outpatient nutrition services, referrals are required from physicians for personalized care.
RMCHCS’s Sleep Disorder Center offers diagnostic and treatment services for adults and children with sleep disorders. Our team, including sleep technicians and respiratory therapists, conducts overnight sleep studies to monitor breathing patterns and diagnose conditions like sleep apnea.
After the study, patients meet with our specialists to discuss results and treatment options, such as CPAP therapy, to improve sleep quality.
